FixAll-er was created to make finding local help simpler, safer and more transparent.

The problem we started with

Getting work done on your home rarely fails because there is nobody available. It fails because of everything around it:

• Quotes that are hard to compare because they are written on different terms.
• Feeling uneasy about handing money to somebody you have only just met.
• No clear accountability once the work is done and paid for.
• Good professionals spending money chasing leads instead of doing the job.
• Big national platforms that feel impersonal and know nothing about your area.

How FixAll-er answers it

Professionals go through the FixAll-er verification process before the Verified badge appears — depending on the trade, that can include identity, proof of address, public liability insurance and qualifications. You see verification status, reviews, service area and experience side by side with every quote, so you are comparing more than price.

Payment is handled securely through the platform rather than paid direct to a stranger, and released once the work is complete. If something does go wrong, there is an established dispute process instead of leaving two people to argue it out alone.

Fair for professionals too

Professionals join for free and choose which jobs they want to quote on. There is no fee simply to submit a quote. FixAll-er only earns when a job is completed and paid through the platform, at a clearly displayed percentage of the job value — no subscriptions, no hidden charges.

We are building around local work first — Birmingham, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, West Bromwich, Coventry and the towns in between. The first 100 customers and first 100 verified professionals to join receive a permanent Founding Member badge.
