Terms of Service

Last updated: 07/08/2026

This page is maintained by FixAll-er to set out the rules and expectations for using the FixAll-er platform. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your legal obligations, please seek independent advice.

1. About the platform

FixAll-er is a UK online marketplace that connects customers looking for trades and services with local professionals who can carry out the work. We are not a party to the contract between customer and professional. We provide the platform, payment handling and dispute tools; the actual service agreement is between you and the other user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use FixAll-er as a customer or service provider. Service providers must have the right to work in the UK, hold appropriate insurance where required, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Posting jobs and quotes

Customers agree to provide accurate, truthful descriptions of the work required. Professionals agree to provide honest, fixed or estimated quotes and only quote for work they are qualified and available to carry out. Both parties agree to communicate respectfully and promptly.

4. Payments and fees

Joining FixAll-er is free. When a customer pays for a job through the platform, FixAll-er deducts a service fee from the total amount before the remainder is transferred to the professional. The exact fee is shown clearly before the professional accepts the work. No fees are charged until a payment is successfully made.

5. Cancellations, refunds and disputes

If something goes wrong, either party can raise a dispute. FixAll-er may hold, refund or release funds in line with the dispute outcome. We reserve the right to make the final decision on payment disputes, taking into account the evidence provided by both parties.

6. Reviews and ratings

Reviews may only be left for jobs that have been completed through the platform. Users agree to leave honest, accurate reviews and not to manipulate ratings or post defamatory content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these rules.

7. Verification and badges

A "Verified" badge indicates that a professional has submitted identity, address and insurance documentation and that our team has reviewed it. It does not guarantee the quality of the work, and customers should still make their own decisions when hiring.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, engage in fraud, receive serious complaints or otherwise harm the marketplace. Users may close their account at any time by contacting support.

9. Limitation of liability

FixAll-er is responsible for the platform services we provide, such as hosting, matching and payments. We are not liable for the quality of work carried out by professionals, for injuries, damage or losses arising from a service relationship between users, or for events outside our reasonable control.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be published here. If you have questions, please contact us at support@fixall-er.co.uk.
